Over a period of nine and a half years I attended every car auction held in Sydney. I think in that time I saw it all including many scams uncovered involving both the buyers and the sellers. The biggest scam uncovered was repossessions going up for sale at an invitation only auction where there was no reserve and the first bid was immediately accepted as the sale price.
